William G. Abel, a beloved life partner, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 80. Abel was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Margaret, and siblings Gerry and Carole Lambert. He is survived by his partner Nancy
Ruprecht, children Geoffrey, Rebecca Abel-Kennedy, and Mark, as well as grandchildren Emily Abel-Rutter, Converse Kennedy, Charlotte, and Willow Abel. Abel's siblings, nieces, nephews, and special friends also mourn his passing. He was a Rochester, NY native, attended Aquinas Institute, and earned degrees from Cornell University. A memorial service is scheduled for October 27 at St. Joseph Church in North Bend.
