Sasso Nero, a contemporary residence located in Seaforth on Sydney's Northern Beaches, is designed by buck&simple in collaboration with Bates Holmes Landscape. The home integrates architecture, interiors, and landscape using a palette of dark timber,
natural stone, bronze, and charred cladding. This design creates a substantial yet welcoming family home that emphasizes views, natural light, and outdoor living. The architecture features intersecting planes, curved forms, and carefully positioned openings that draw the surrounding garden into view, enhancing the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
