Sao Paulo's hotel industry reported record-breaking performance metrics during March 2026, driven by the city's Design Week. According to CoStar, a leading provider of commercial real estate data, the average
daily rate (ADR) increased by 7.4% to BRL871.48, while occupancy rose by 13% to 67.8%. The revenue per available room (RevPAR) also saw a significant increase of 21.3%. The peak performance occurred on March 11, with occupancy reaching 88.9% and ADR hitting BRL1,041.59. Several other events, including the Capacity LATAM conference and the WST Skateboarding World Championship, contributed to the strong hotel performance throughout the month.
