What's Happening?
In response to devastating wildfires in eastern Washington, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has dispatched three semitrucks loaded with relief supplies to assist evacuees near Spokane. The fires, known as the Spokane Wildfire Complex,
have destroyed over 850 buildings and forced more than 67,000 people to evacuate. The Church is actively coordinating with local leaders to provide temporary housing, meals, and other forms of support. The Church's United States West Area presidency has expressed gratitude for the efforts of first responders and volunteers, urging continued prayer and service.
