The BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) in Hyderabad has opened applications for a Project Associate position as part of a DST-SERB funded research project. This role is focused on studying
the role of Cdk-related kinases in the transcript maturation of Toxoplasma gondii during its asexual developmental stages. The position is initially for six months, with a possibility of extension based on performance. Candidates with an M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Microbiology are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those with experience in molecular parasitology and techniques like gene cloning and protein purification. The job offers a salary of ₹31,000 plus HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates, and ₹25,000 plus HRA for others. Applications must be submitted via email by January 4, 2026.
