What's Happening?
The state of Utah has purchased a $40 million campus in West Valley City to house the Department of Health and Human Services. The property, originally built for FranklinCovey, spans 21.7 acres and includes five buildings totaling over 300,000 square
feet. The acquisition, one of the largest recent commercial real estate transactions in the state, was finalized in mid-July. The campus features amenities such as a cafeteria, fitness center, and auditorium. The transition of the department to the new location is expected to take several years, as the current headquarters are located in Salt Lake City.
