Lineage has donated $50,000 to assist 219 customers of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) in Boyle Heights, who have been affected by increased utility bills following a warehouse fire. The fire at the Lineage warehouse has led to poor
air quality, forcing residents to use air purifiers continuously, significantly increasing their electricity costs. The donation will automatically apply a one-time payment to the accounts of those living closest to the fire site. However, residents in unincorporated East Los Angeles, who are also affected, have not yet received similar assistance. LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis is advocating for comparable support for these residents.
