The NBA, in collaboration with Fanatics and Topps, has introduced special removable patches for players making their debut in the 2025 season. These patches, featuring the NBA logo flanked by two red arrows,
will be worn by rookies such as Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, and Ace Bailey during their first NBA game. The patches will be removed after the game and will be featured on one-of-one trading cards released by Topps. This initiative is part of a broader effort by Fanatics to commemorate significant milestones in sports, similar to previous efforts in the NFL, MLS, and MLB.
