Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, is one of the first three hospitals to receive a branded vending machine, along with the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana. Children can select brand-new books for free, and each hospital also receives tokens for accessing the machines and themed arts and crafts.
