Dundee-Crown High School's volleyball team has been on a remarkable run, winning 9 out of their last 10 matches, largely due to the exceptional performance of their sophomore setter, Tori Brents. Standing
at 5-foot-11, Brents has been instrumental in both setting up plays and contributing offensively, showcasing her versatility on the court. Under the guidance of coach Patty Langanis, who took over the program this summer, Brents has been given the freedom to make strategic plays, such as executing dumps and attacking from the front row. Her improved jump serve has also been a significant asset, as demonstrated in their recent victory over Burlington Central, where she served three aces and added a block and a kill. The team, now heading into the postseason, is considered one of the hottest contenders despite being the seventh seed in the Class 4A Hampshire Sectional.
