Carmine Agnello, the grandson of infamous mob boss John Gotti, has been sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for COVID relief fraud. Agnello pleaded guilty to falsifying applications to obtain approximately $1 million in COVID relief loans. In addition
to his prison sentence, he will serve two years of supervised release and is required to pay $1,268,302 in restitution. Prosecutors had initially sought a longer sentence of two and a half years. Agnello is scheduled to begin his sentence on July 20.
