The dogs, identified as a large black Cane Corso and a black and tan Shepherd mix, are being sought by officials who have shared information with partner agencies. The attack occurred on March 31, near Keissel Road, where the donkey was found dead. This marks the latest in at least 11 attacks on donkeys since December 2025. Officials are urging anyone with information about the dogs or their owner to contact the Riverside County Department of Animal Services.
