In Benton Harbor, Michigan, a significant redevelopment project known as 'Project T' is underway, transforming the former site of Mercy Hospital into 77 workforce housing units. The hospital, which was
vacated in 1986 and demolished in 2016, is being repurposed through a $27 million initiative funded by a public-private partnership.
