What's Happening?
Boeing Defence UK has been awarded a new contract worth £879 million ($1.2 billion) to provide in-service support for the UK's AH-64E Apache and CH-47 Chinook helicopter fleets. The contract, announced on April 15, is part of the Rotary Wing Enterprise
(RWE) deal, which aims to enhance the capability and availability of these aircraft. The contract includes ongoing aircraft support, maintenance, supply chain management, training, and integration services. This initiative is expected to sustain over 700 jobs and improve platform readiness for the UK's Joint Helicopter Command.
