Lufthansa Group has reached a new labor agreement with the Verdi union, covering over 20,000 ground staff in Germany, which constitutes nearly one-fifth of the company's workforce. The deal includes a 4.6% pay increase for employees at Lufthansa Airlines,
Lufthansa Cargo, and Lufthansa Technik, among others. However, the pay rise for Lufthansa Airlines staff will be postponed until 2027 due to the current economic challenges faced by the operator.
