What's Happening?
The Olo Caye project, a reimagining of the former Stake Bank (Port Coral) project, is set to transform Belizean tourism. Led by Piero Dibattista, the project aims to integrate a world-class cruise port with a luxury resort, enhancing Belize's competitiveness
as a premier Caribbean destination. The development is expected to create 5,500 jobs during construction and provide 750 permanent positions once operational. The project will feature advanced piers, local business resources, and cultural districts, aiming to boost the local economy and empower communities. Construction is set to begin soon, with completion expected by early 2028.
Why It's Important?
