Vedanta Aluminium, India's largest aluminium producer, has launched Restora production at its Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO) plant in Korba, Chhattisgarh. This initiative is part of Vedanta's
commitment to sustainable production and its Net Zero Carbon 2050 goal. Restora is produced using renewable energy and maintains a verified greenhouse gas emission intensity of less than 4 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per tonne of aluminium, meeting global standards for low-carbon aluminium.
