What's Happening?
The German Armed Forces, known as the Bundeswehr, have placed an order for 84 RCH 155 wheeled howitzers from KNDS Deutschland. This contract, valued at approximately €1.2 billion ($1.4 billion), includes
training equipment and logistical support. The RCH 155 integrates an unmanned, automated artillery gun module with the BOXER wheeled armored vehicle chassis, allowing for operation while moving.
