Dr. Tracy Champagne, an educator from Cairo, Georgia, has been honored with the Outstanding Educator Award by the ABAC Alumni Association. The award recognizes her dedication to teaching and her significant contributions to agricultural education. Champagne, who
attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) from 1995 to 1997, has a long-standing career in education, having taught in both Georgia and Florida. Her work includes launching new academic programs, supporting FFA chapters, and developing community gardens. Champagne's approach emphasizes hands-on learning experiences that equip students with practical skills. She has received multiple accolades, including Teacher of the Year awards and a STAR Teacher recognition. Currently, she teaches agriculture at Bainbridge High School and serves as a co-adviser for the school's FFA chapter.
