What's Happening?
ElleMoutmir, launched under OCP Group’s Al Moutmir initiative, is redefining the role of rural women in Morocco’s agricultural sector by empowering them with technical knowledge, digital tools, and entrepreneurial skills. Established in 2018, Al Moutmir aims to promote inclusive agricultural development through innovative, science-based solutions. The initiative has directly supported over 40,000 farmers and reached more than 540,000 through digital tools. ElleMoutmir specifically targets women as key agents of transformation, helping them acquire agricultural and managerial competencies to enhance productivity while protecting natural resources. The program supports women farmers, female agricultural retailers, women’s cooperatives, and young female leaders, promoting climate-smart agricultural practices and contributing to sustainable development goals.

By providing women with the necessary skills and tools, ElleMoutmir is fostering a new generation of female leaders in agriculture who can drive change within their communities. What's Next?
ElleMoutmir will host an event at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University to discuss strategies for greater inclusivity in agriculture. The program has already supported numerous women’s cooperatives and female farmers, connecting them to markets through digital platforms. Outstanding women will be recognized during the Al Moutmir Trophies ceremony. The initiative aims to continue combining science, innovation, and community leadership to empower women and transform agriculture in Morocco.
