The Denver Broncos Foundation, in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and the national nonprofit Attendance Works, has launched the Denver Broncos Attendance Network. This initiative is a learning network designed for school
leaders, encompassing 53 schools from thirteen districts and two Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) across Colorado. The primary goal of the network is to improve student attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism. Participating schools will receive ongoing professional learning, coaching, resources, and toolkits to support their local efforts. This program aligns with Colorado's 'Every School Day Matters! Campaign,' which aims to halve chronic absenteeism over the next five years. According to the CDE, one in four students in Colorado has been chronically absent since 2023.
