LGC Group has inaugurated a new Organic Chemistry Synthesis Centre of Excellence in Vaughan, Ontario, with an investment of CAD $100 million. This facility, spanning 203,000 square feet, is one of the largest of its kind globally and significantly enhances the capacity of Toronto Research Chemicals (TRC) to serve pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors worldwide. TRC, acquired by LGC in 2019, is renowned for synthesizing complex organic molecules crucial for drug discovery, diagnostics, and various industrial applications. The new center aims to provide faster and more reliable access to essential research chemicals, supporting advancements in precision medicine, environmental safety, and sustainable chemistry.
