What's Happening?
Omer Ben Atiya, a wounded fighter from the Givati Brigade, embarked on a 470-kilometer cycling journey to Eilat in memory of his fallen comrades, Sgt. Roei Wolf and Staff Sgt. Lavi Lipshitz. Despite being
seriously injured in Gaza and still undergoing rehabilitation, Ben Atiya undertook this journey to honor his friends who died during a ground maneuver. The ride, which he planned for nearly a year, symbolizes his commitment to keeping their memory alive. Along the way, he faced physical challenges but remained determined to complete the journey, drawing attention to the sacrifices made by soldiers.
