The Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Alaa Farouk, announced significant achievements in the country's agricultural sector for the year 2025. According to the minister, Egypt has reached
100% self-sufficiency in table eggs and fresh milk, 97% in white meat, and 93.5% in fish. The minister also highlighted a record in agricultural exports, with nearly 9 million tons exported this year, facilitated by the opening of 25 new international markets.
