A 54-year-old man from Manhattan, Kansas, named Mark Christopher Chapman, was arrested in connection with a theft incident at a local Walmart. The Riley County Police Department reported the theft of two lawn mowers, a grass trimmer, and a bottle of cranberry
juice, with a total estimated loss of $1,009. Chapman was apprehended on charges of theft of property or services valued under $1,500 and shoplifting, with no bond issued. He is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
