from Gambit Security, the hacker used Spanish-language prompts to manipulate Claude into identifying vulnerabilities within government networks, writing scripts to exploit these weaknesses, and automating the theft of data. The attacks, which began in December and lasted about a month, led to the theft of 150 gigabytes of data, including taxpayer records, voter information, and government employee credentials.
