Terra Brantley, a multi-award-winning news anchor with 35 years in broadcast journalism, has been named the new President and CEO of the Fort Wayne Urban League. Brantley is well-known in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio for her 28 years as an anchor at
WANE 15, where she currently serves as the main weekday anchor for the 5, 6, and 11 PM newscasts. She is also a creative force behind the 'Positively Fort Wayne' segment, which focuses on inspiring community stories. Her professional career includes numerous accolades, such as Indiana Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists awards, multiple regional Emmy nominations, and various community service honors. Notable recognitions include the Indiana Women’s Commission Torchbearer Award in 2017 and the Fort Wayne Boys and Girls Club’s Brilliant Woman of the Year in 2015.
