The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) has announced plans to update the language of the North DuSable Lake Shore Drive project following feedback from over 1,800 residents. The current draft
of the 2026 Regional Transportation Plan referred to a 'preferred alternative' that is no longer considered final.
