career as a landlord. He was also a musician, playing in a band at the Barnyard Flea Market, and enjoyed hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and using his CB radio. Widener was a member of The Bible Chapel in Augusta, where his funeral service will be held on October 27, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joyce Widener, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
