Tanzania and Namibia have agreed to enhance cooperation in several key sectors, including trade, investment, food security, the Blue Economy, natural gas, minerals, and livestock development. This agreement was announced by Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu
Hassan during a joint press conference with Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah in Dar es Salaam. The two countries aim to translate strong political relations into tangible economic benefits for their citizens. They plan to collaborate on marine resource management, fisheries, and fish processing, as well as natural gas and mining through expertise exchange and capacity-building. Additionally, they discussed improving transport and connectivity, including potential direct flights between the two nations.
