What's Happening?
The city of Aurora's Youth Services Division is set to host its annual Youth and Family Resource Fair on Thursday, April 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Prisco Community Center. The event will feature over 45 organizations that provide services to youth and families,
along with cultural performances, live music, and food offerings. The fair aims to provide access to free programs, services, and resources, while also offering entertainment through partnerships with local youth and business communities.
Why It's Important?
The Youth and Family Resource Fair serves as a vital community event that connects families with essential services and resources. By facilitating access to these programs, the fair supports the well-being and development of young people in Aurora. It also fosters community engagement and collaboration among local organizations, enhancing the support network available to families. Such events can have a positive impact on social cohesion and community resilience, particularly in urban areas.
