What's Happening?
SpaceX is set to launch 24 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The launch, originally scheduled for July 27, was delayed and is now planned for Friday night. This mission, known as Starlink 17-52,
will add to SpaceX's growing constellation of broadband internet satellites, which currently exceeds 10,800 in orbit. The Falcon 9 rocket's first stage, B1081, will be making its 26th flight, having previously supported multiple missions for NASA and other customers. The booster is expected to land on the droneship 'Of Course I Still Love You' in the Pacific Ocean, marking another milestone in SpaceX's efforts to reuse rocket components.
