The Snoopy House holiday event has returned to the Costa Mesa City Hall lawn, running nightly until December 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event features Peanuts-inspired lights and decorations,
photo opportunities with Santa Claus, train rides, and stage performances. Food vendors such as Dezzertaholic, Family Pizza, and Dragon Dog are available for attendees. The event pays homage to the original Snoopy House display created in 1966 by then-Mayor Willard Jordan and his family. Additionally, VEA Newport Beach is hosting a 'Holiday Hideout' lounge through December 31, offering cocktails and seasonal snacks. The menorah lighting ceremony at Fashion Island marks the beginning of Hanukkah, featuring live music, a children's choir, and a community toy drive. Lauren Kleiman has been appointed as the new mayor of Newport Beach, with a focus on communication, connectivity, customer service, and public safety.
