Jeffery Broussard, a renowned Creole musician and zydeco artist, is featured in the Acadiana Music Showcase with his new band, The Nighttime Syndicate. This group includes members from the TBC Brass Band
and a New Orleans swing band's rhythm section. The showcase highlights performances from their debut album, 'Bayou Moonlight'. Broussard, known for his accordion skills, has been a significant figure in the zydeco scene for 50 years, previously leading bands like Zydeco Force and The Creole Cowboys. The showcase is produced by KRVS Public Media at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, in partnership with World Cafe.
