Kwik Trip has inaugurated its second distribution center in DeForest, Wisconsin, located approximately 10 miles north of Madison. The 280,000-square-foot facility, situated on a 150-acre parcel acquired
in 2024, will service 350 Kwik Trip stores. The center includes freezer, cooler, and dry goods space, along with conditioning rooms for banana ripening. This new location aims to reduce distribution costs for stores in the southern part of Kwik Trip’s geographic footprint. Kwik Trip produces over 80% of the products sold in its stores, supplied by its bakery, commissary, dairy, and its original distribution center in La Crosse. The DeForest campus also features a truck wash, maintenance facility, and onsite health clinic for employees.
