Carlisle Bay, a premier resort in Antigua, has embarked on a multimillion-dollar renovation project, with completion expected by November 2027. The first phase focuses on refurbishing 55% of the resort's 87 suites, including the Ocean, Bay, and Garden
Suites, set to be completed by October 2025. The renovation aims to enhance the resort's appeal to international travelers, particularly from the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., by upgrading guest suites, public areas, dining venues, and the CARA Organic Spa. The design vision is led by London-based designer Miminat Shodeinde, who integrates contemporary opulence with Antiguan heritage, using textures and materials inspired by the island's natural environment.
