What's Happening?
Pratt & Whitney Canada's PW800 engine family has surpassed 600,000 flight hours, powering aircraft such as the Gulfstream G500/600 and Dassault Falcon 6X. With over 700 engines in service for 250 operators, production is expanding to include the new PW812GA
variant for the Gulfstream G400. The PW814 and PW815 engines have been in service since 2018 and 2019, respectively, while the PW812 was developed for the Dassault Falcon 6X, entering service in late 2023. Additionally, the PW545D turbofan will debut on Textron Aviation's Cessna Citation Ascend midsize jet, featuring increased thrust and advanced design elements.
