A 38-year-old woman tragically fell to her death from an upper terminal deck at the Indianapolis International Airport. Prior to the incident, she contacted the airport's operations center, expressing distress. Despite efforts by operators to locate and
calm her, she moved across traffic lanes and climbed a retaining wall, ultimately falling 50 feet to the ground. Emergency personnel arrived quickly and attempted life-saving measures, but she did not survive. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the trunk and extremities.
