The survey, which included 2,000 UK adults, also found that nearly one in five respondents did not know their pension provider, and almost half were unaware of the total value of their pension. This lack of awareness extends to the point where 16% have never checked their pension balance, and 22% are unsure of the amount needed for retirement. Despite this, 39% of UK adults expressed that higher pension contributions from employers would be more valuable than other workplace perks.
