What's Happening?
The European Union celebrated the awarding of Erasmus+ scholarships to 55 Ethiopian students for the 2025-2026 academic year. These scholarships will allow the students to pursue Master's degrees at leading European universities across 12 countries. Since
2010, over 600 Ethiopian students have benefited from this program, reflecting Ethiopia's strong performance in securing these prestigious scholarships. The EU organized a Pre-Departure Networking Event in Addis Ababa, providing the students with guidance on travel, visas, and adapting to life in Europe. This initiative underscores the growing partnership between Ethiopia and the EU in higher education and international cooperation.
