The First Group Hospitality and MIDROC Investment Group have signed a master agreement to develop and operate ten hotels in Ethiopia. This agreement was formalized at the Future Hospitality Summit Africa in Nairobi. The portfolio will include independent
and Marriott-branded hotels in various Ethiopian cities, delivering approximately 1,140 keys. The openings are scheduled between 2026 and 2031. This partnership aligns with The First Group's strategy to expand its management platform in Africa and supports MIDROC's growth in the Ethiopian hospitality sector.
