She was also a grandmother to ten grandchildren and had numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Harriet was preceded in death by her siblings and parents, Henry P. and Winnie DeYoung. Her funeral service is scheduled for July 9, 2026, at the First Reformed Church in South Holland, with a private family interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing, IL.
