WinGD has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions to expand engine aftercare and technical services in the Middle East. This partnership aims to enhance the delivery
of WinGD's lifecycle services, known as Global Service by WinGD, to ship operators in the region. The collaboration will leverage Qatar Shipyard's strategic location and infrastructure, combined with WinGD's expertise in engine design, to provide comprehensive engine maintenance, repair, overhaul, and retrofitting services. The initiative is designed to support more than 100 LNG carriers powered by WinGD engines that will be operational on Qatar projects starting in 2026.
