ViiV Healthcare, a global specialist HIV company majority owned by GSK, has launched a social media video campaign titled 'Still Here' to coincide with National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The campaign aims to spark crucial conversations about HIV among
young people, highlighting the ongoing public health issue that HIV presents, particularly among youth. Despite progress in HIV prevention and care, young people aged 13-24 account for nearly 20% of new HIV diagnoses nationwide, with a significant portion never having been tested for HIV. The campaign seeks to raise awareness of HIV incidence and promote education around pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and HIV care, especially among disproportionately impacted groups such as Black youth.
