What's Happening?
The Northern Departmental Directorate of Agriculture (DDAN) in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, has completed the rehabilitation of an agricultural machinery storage depot and garage. This project, funded by the French
Embassy and managed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the firm ÉCOTRANS, aims to support the Ministry of Agriculture. The facilities had been in disrepair for over 15 years, and their restoration is part of the Green Transition and Reintegration Project for Deported Migrants. The initiative has created more than 10 direct jobs and is intended to enhance the agricultural infrastructure in the region, supporting farmers across 19 communes.
