Olivier Rioux, a center for the Florida Gators, made history by becoming the tallest player to participate in a Division I college basketball game. Standing at 7'9", Rioux played briefly in Florida's decisive
104-64 victory over North Florida. Although he did not record any statistics during his short time on the court, his presence marked a significant milestone. Rioux, originally from Quebec, Canada, attended IMG Academy in Florida and was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2024. He has represented Canada in international basketball competitions.
