Notably, AI tools have been used for real-time audio and video translation, processing 700 files in just ten days, and providing real-time translation during Board of Supervisors meetings. Additionally, the county has deployed AI to analyze out-of-county conviction records. In terms of cybersecurity, Alameda County has adopted a centralized monitoring platform to manage over 10,000 endpoints, successfully blocking more than half a million phishing attempts in 2025. The county plans to further expand its technological capabilities, including enhancing the Sheriff's Real-Time Information Center and modernizing its network infrastructure.
