Students at Okanagan Mission Secondary in Kelowna participated in a demonstration highlighting the dangers of impaired driving. The event, organized by the Kelowna Fire Department, RCMP, and BC Ambulance Service, simulated a head-on collision involving
a driver under the influence. The demonstration aimed to educate Grade 12 students, who are nearing full driving privileges, about the consequences of driving under the influence. First responders showcased their procedures in handling such accidents, emphasizing the importance of making responsible decisions behind the wheel.
