What's Happening?
The Cultural Heritage Center of Southwest Florida is hosting its 7th annual International Culture Festival this weekend. The event will feature a parade of nations, culturally themed vendors, and dance
performances from over 12 countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. For the first time, the Albanian American Association will participate. The festival aims to promote cultural exchange and has expanded to include events in Cape Coral, Collier County, Charlotte County, and Lee County. Pearl Cruz Morrison, director of Cultural Affairs, emphasizes the festival's role in fostering community acceptance and belonging.
