The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO), with assistance from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal, executed a search warrant at Navarre’s Pastries in Springfield, Louisiana, on August 12. The operation resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity
of narcotics and 52 firearms. Investigators described the business as a distribution hub for various controlled dangerous substances, including approximately 42.8 grams of suspected cocaine, 394 Adderall dosage units, 200 suspected MDMA dosage units, and smaller amounts of Vyvanse, alprazolam, diazepam, and anabolic steroids. Among the seized firearms, one was reported stolen through LPSO. Additionally, about $3,550 in cash was seized, pending further action. Jules Navarre, 43, was arrested and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on multiple charges, including 52 counts of possessing a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
